As they say, if you find this twin strawberry, you have to eat the half of that strawberry with your lovey dove so you’ll stay forever. I’m so carried away on this recently ended tv series. So…… here we go!
Sad to say, this is the only one I got!
A juicy, sweet strawberry.
Now, there’s really no forever! I don’t believe in forever anyway….. Walang forever as some say!
These are our harvest. Just kidding :)
I mean their harvest.
Why not ours?
Because……. If you’re the one who will harvest their strawberry crops, you’ll gonna pay a hefty amount of Php 350!
Why so costly considering I’m the one who will pick up those strawberries, they minimize somewhat on the labor cost.
No dear! It is only your way of thinking.
The truth is…….. strawberry picking in La Trinidad, Benguet is costly because you are just a neophyte, no knowledge on how to pick strawberries properly and you may damage their plots and crops. Costly because that Php 350 covers all!
Since we are practical tourists, we asked those stall owners if we could make pictures of picking strawberries and taste some of it. A two or three is not bad.
To do so, all you need is a good and competitive negotiating power that after taking some pictures, you will buy some of their strawberry products.
Presto! We have our strawberry picking souvenirs!
And we only pay Php 240 for the 2 kilos of strawberries. (Php 120/kilos when we went there).
Isn’t that is so economical and practical?
Don’t forget to have a free taste of their wine strawberries.
Remember this road?
Yes, it is where Agnes throws cabbage to Xander when he attempted to run.
How I missed the pair!
There was this time I really missed Xander and the whole cast of “Forevermore” and once again, I watched the whole 150 episodes here: http://tfc.tv/
And as always, I was once again get thrilled, pissed off to Cate and get in love to Xander and Agnes for this 7 days free trial.
Goodbye Forevermore.
Walang forever! No forever indeed…….!
Anyways, here’s how to get in the Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet, Baguio.
Take jeepney route via La Trinidad, Camp Dangwa, Buyagan, Tublay and Cruz.
Estimated walk from the main road is I think 20 meters away.
You can take a taxi I you want a city tour for Php 300/hour.
You can contact this driver who assisted us to make this tour possible:
Bobot Lorenzana
Contact Numbers: 09183264453/09219123474
Getting a city tour taxi is not advisable for me because of the traffic in the area.
I think in Km 3, La Trinidad? I’m not so sure here.
We paid Php 550 for our city tour from Lefern Hotel to La Trinidad.
