Which, in your opinion, is the better mall?
SM North EDSA
The first SM Supermall was opened in 1985 and started the Philippine “malling” phenomenon as we know it today. Malls are a part of every Filipino life—the pioneer of the one-stop shop concept in the country having a well-balanced mélange of shopping (both local and international brands), restaurants and fastfood dining, amusement (bowling lanes, ice skating, theme rides and games), leisure (as many as 12 cinemas under one roof), and convention and trade exhibition centers. It is the ideal wholesome family gathering and entertainment place.
Located in key areas in Metro Manila, as well as major provincial cities, each SM Supermall is easily accessible and situated by places of public interest (churches, schools, major roads and highways, etc); truly a destination not missed by every Filipino family.
Trinoma
Constructed in the 54.3 hectare Quezon City Triangle Exchange. The Quezon City Central Business District is a 250.6-hectare redevelopment of the North Triangle (North Avenue, Quezon Memorial Circle, EDSA, Quezon Avenue), East Triangle (East Avenue, Quezon Memorial Circle, EDSA, Quezon Avenue) and Veterans Center (North Avenue, Mindanao Avenue)
One of the “big” names in Philippine malls is Ayala and one of their bigger malls is the Trinoma, which stands for “Triangle North of Manila”. It’s a huge complex and it’s parking system is just as complex. It also houses the Landmark department store, with reasonably-priced items.
